Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 12th Annual

Intensified & Continuous Bioprocessing

Continuous Innovation. Intensified Results.

August 11-12, 2026

The Intensified & Continuous Bioprocessing conference brings together the industry’s leading innovators to explore the cutting edge of high-efficiency, next-generation biomanufacturing. With deep dives into end-to-end continuous platforms, advanced upstream intensification, continuous chromatography, novel midstream technologies, real-time process control and predictive modeling strategies, this event showcases how companies are accelerating development, reducing costs, and enabling more robust production. Join industry experts leading the continuous innovations that will boost productivity and excellence in next-generation bioprocessing.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • End-to-End Continuous Bioprocess and Integrated Facility Design
    • End-to-end integrated continuous biomanufacturing: perfusion, continuous harvest, MCC, single-pass TFF, polishing
    • Hybrid continuous/batch strategies
    • Facility of the future: modular, intensified, parallel-train designs
  • Intensified Upstream Processing for Novel Modalities
    • N-1 perfusion, intensified seed trains, and concentrated fed-batch
    • High-density perfusion platforms
    • Intensified processes and their impact on downstream load; single-pass TFF and other solutions
    • Perfusion and intensified processes for emerging modalities (mRNA, AAV, oligos, VLPs, ASOs, siRNA, exsomes)
  • Continuous and Intensified Downstream and Midstream Operations
    • Multi-column chromatography (MCC), continuous capture, continuous polishing
    • Continuous viral clearance
    • Continuous clarification technologies (acoustic wave, membrane harvest, single-pass TFF)
  • Digital Twins, Automation, and Advanced Process Control
    • Digital twins for downstream and whole-plant simulation
    • Data infrastructure for continuous, real-time release testing
    • PAT-enabled real-time process monitoring and control

The deadline for priority consideration is January 23, 2026.

All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
